Editorial Director
Angela Anna Jossy
Angela Anna Jossy is a biotechnology undergraduate and writer interested in the intersections of science, culture, and storytelling. Her academic work spans synthetic biology, plant pathology, and molecular research, while her writing focuses on translating complex scientific and policy ideas into accessible narratives. At The Framing Theory, she explores global issues through cinema, examining how films shape public imagination around science, power, and society. She views films as cultural texts deserving the same critical attention as academic work, and enjoys blending analytical rigor with reflective storytelling.

Director-Research
Kaushika Ganapathi Venkatraman
Kaushika is a final-year biotechnology undergraduate interested less in scientific breakthroughs themselves and more in what happens after them. Her work sits at the intersection of science, sustainability, and data, focusing on why promising ideas often fail to translate into real-world impact. Through writing, she examines the systems, incentives, and structures that determine whether innovation reaches society. At The Framing Theory, she is interested in unpacking the gap between discovery and deployment, and in asking who ultimately decides what progress looks like.

Kriti Pande
Kriti Pande is a Finance and Economics major at TAPMI Bengaluru, with academic interests in business strategy, macroeconomics, and public policy. She has participated as a delegate at the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR), where she was also a finalist in the Impact Challenge, and is a regional winner of the RBI Policy Challenge. Director-Science and Tech
Avani Srikanth
Avani is a fourth-year student at McMaster University in Canada with a strong interest in healthcare and the systems that shape it. She is particularly drawn to the intersection of traditional and modern medicine, and to amplifying cultural perspectives often overlooked in mainstream healthcare discourse. Through writing, she explores untold stories and emerging research that challenge symptom-focused models of care. At The Framing Theory, Avani aims to contribute to conversations around holistic, inclusive, and thoughtful approaches to health and healing.
